This earthy, brightly acidic mead balances the lingering tartness of whole blackberries and carefully selected honey with just a hint of fresh lavender on the back end. Intensely fruity, a complex flavor profile and an earthy aroma, this mead is reminiscent of picking fruit on a mid-summer day. A strong option for the cellar, blackberry will continue to mature and develop in the bottle for years. Blackberry pairs well with creamy cheeses, duck, and veal.
Bursting with the rich flavors of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, this mead is sweetened with raw wildflower honey sourced from Washington’s small local apiaries. A gentle touch of Jamaican clove, allspice, and Valencia orange zest adds warmth and brightness, creating a smooth, well-rounded finish.
Crafted from golden honey with a bright burst of lemon and a gentle ginger spice, this mead is crisp, lively, and refreshingly smooth. Balanced between zesty citrus and warming notes, it’s as perfect for a sophisticated evening as it is for a casual celebration.
Our Story
Blue Skye Meadery is a small batch Meadery started by Jennifer and Gary Brazer in Spanaway, Washington in 2017. We make several varieties of mead and hope to share our love of mead making with everyone.
